Batería IV Woodcock-Muñoz®: Achievement Assessment
The Batería IV Woodcock-Muñoz®: Pruebas de Aprovechamiento is one of the most widely respected standardized academic assessments available for Spanish-speaking students. It is designed to measure a student's academic achievement in reading, writing, oral language, and mathematics from preschool through adulthood. The assessment helps identify a student's academic strengths, areas of need, and instructional recommendations to support educational planning. School systems throughout the country use it as part of evaluations to see where students are academically.
A Research-Based Assessment
The Batería IV is the Spanish counterpart to the Woodcock-Johnson IV and was developed using a nationally representative norming sample of 7,416 individuals ranging in age from 2 to 90+ years. This large, diverse sample helps ensure that scores are reliable and accurately compare a student's performance with that of same-age or same-grade peers.
