Brilla Bilingual Education provides private educational assessments designed to inform families about their child's academic development and learning profile. These assessments are intended for educational planning and consultation. They are not special education eligibility evaluations or medical or psychological diagnoses.

(Brigance Inventory of Early Development III)
Evaluate your child's early literacy and math development to better understand their school readiness and identify strengths and areas for growth. This assessment is ideal for preschool and kindergarten students.
Literacy – Measures foundational reading and writing readiness skills, including letter knowledge, print awareness, phonological awareness, and vocabulary.
Mathematics – Measures early math concepts and problem-solving skills, including number recognition, counting, number sense, patterns, shapes, measurement, and basic operations. This assessment is ideal for pre-kindergarten to seven years and eleven months.

Evaluate your child's Spanish language proficiency to better understand their strengths in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This assessment is ideal for English learners, Spanish-speaking students, and children participating in bilingual or dual-language programs.

Pricing
Assessment fees vary based on the type and scope of testing required, ranging from $395 for the shorter IED III assessment to $1,095 for a comprehensive bilingual assessment. Following an initial conversation with the family, the assessor will determine the appropriate assessment needs and provide a personalized cost estimate before testing is scheduled
Travel Information
To make services as accessible as possible, Brilla offers mobile assessments at another agreed-upon location.
Up to 20 miles: Additional $15 travel fee
21–40 miles: Additional $25 travel fee
41–60 miles: Additional $50 travel fee
More than 60 miles: Please contact us for a personalized travel quote.
Travel distance is calculated from Brilla's office location (18310 Montgomery Village Avenue, Suite 300, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20879). Brilla offers mobile assessment services throughout the Washington metropolitan area. Travel fees are based on the distance from our office and help cover the additional time and transportation associated with providing in-person services at your preferred location.
Professional Ethics
Brilla provides private educational evaluations and individualized consultations for families seeking independent educational support, including students in public, private and parochial schools, as well as homeschooled students.
To maintain the highest ethical and professional standards and avoid any actual or perceived conflicts of interest, Brilla currently does not provide educational evaluations or student-specific consultations for students currently enrolled in Montgomery County Public Schools (MD).
