The Brilla Experience
What to Expect:
From your initial consultation through your child's evaluation and final report, Brilla is committed to making the process clear, personalized, and supportive. We'll guide you every step of the way so you know what to expect and feel confident throughout the experience.

Every child is unique, which is why every assessment begins with a conversation.
Before your appointment, we'll schedule a brief phone consultation to learn about your child, understand your goals, and discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
This allows us to tailor the evaluation to your child's individual needs while helping your family know exactly what to expect. We'll explain the assessment process, share simple ways to prepare your child, and make sure you feel confident and supported before test day.
Make sure you child is well rested before the assessment.

A Comfortable, Child-Centered Assessment Experience
At Brilla, we believe that a high-quality educational evaluation begins with helping your child feel safe, comfortable, and confident. While our assessments are comprehensive and professionally administered, we strive to make the experience engaging, encouraging, and stress-free.
It's completely normal for children to feel nervous before an evaluation. That's why we take time to build rapport with each child, helping them relax and feel comfortable before and throughout the assessment.
Every evaluation is conducted one-on-one, allowing us to carefully observe your child's learning style, problem-solving approaches, strengths, and areas of need. We provide encouragement throughout the process, adjust the pace as appropriate, and offer breaks whenever needed to help your child stay focused and engaged.
Most assessment sessions last approximately 90 to 120 minutes, though the length may vary depending on your child's age, needs, and the evaluation being completed.

Clear Results. Practical Recommendations.
Following the evaluation, you will receive a comprehensive, easy-to-understand report that clearly explains your child's results, highlights strengths and areas for growth, and provides objective findings.
Each report includes individualized, research-based recommendations designed to support your child's learning and development at home and in school. These recommendations are tailored to your child's unique profile and reflect current best practices in education.
Our goal is to provide families with meaningful information and practical steps that help them better understand how their child learns and identify strategies that support continued academic success.
